Croda International Plc is on the shortlist for the category of Company of the Year award for the Financial Times PLC Awards.
Croda was recognized in the nomination for its completion of a restructuring program, rising sales volumes, change in sales mix and record profits in both consumer care and industrial specialties.In addition, Croda’s global innovation centers, and its ability to continue to put out new products that meet the demands of its customers, was a specific highlight of Croda’s success, the company said.
This is the 25th year of the PLC awards, a honor that recognizes the achievements of small and medium-sized companies trading on the London Stock Exchange.The awards aim to recognize companies that have truly supported their shareholders and customers over the long-term. Nominations for these awards are taken from the public, whittled down to shortlists of four companies per category by a panel of fund managers, brokers and other City Professionals.The winners are then chosen via a 50-50 split between public vote and the panel’s views.
The Financial Times PLC Awards Dinner will be held March 10 in London.
