Dove Go Fresh Links With Female DJs
Female DJs are the newest trendsetters for what is hot in music, style and pop culture with access to the most exclusive events, and to bring this emerging set of style mavens to women everywhere, Dove Go Fresh Deodorant and Body Mist and MTV are spotlighting three up-and-coming DJs in a new video series titled “Dove Fresh Spin.” Real women DJs—Jessica Who, Chelsea Leyland and Diamond Kuts—are giving viewers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at their lives as DJs and as cultural insiders.
According to Jeannie Scalzo, SVP of integrated marketing for MTV, “Each has a unique voice, passion and eye for what’s driving style and pop culture. Utilizing our many platforms, MTV and Dove are unleashing these women’s influence in spotting new trends and showcasing how they work and play on the front lines every day.”
YBF, Carol’s Daughter Help ‘Count Me In’ Ring Opening Bell
On Friday, Sept. 2, Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence, a non-profit group for women entrepreneurs, rang the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange.
On hand were Nell Merlino, CEO of Count Me In, and other members including Stacey Schieffelin, founder and president, ybf (Your Best Friend), and Lisa Price, founder and chief executive officer, Carol’s Daughter.
Count Me In runs the “Make Mine A Million $ Business (M3)” initiative, which empowers women-owned businesses to grow into million dollar enterprises in order to create much needed jobs and stimulate economic growth in communities across the US.
