HBAGlobal Expo is accepting nominations for its annual International Package Design Awards (IPDA) at www.hbaexpo.com/ipda.
The awards honor the year’s most innovative beauty packaging in several categories including cosmetics, fragrance, personal care, skin care and innovations in sustainability. Categories for hair care, sampling/travel size products and at-home devices and tools have also been added to the program.

As the longest running and biggest package design awards in the beauty industry—major brands, niche players and indie companies, have all won HBA’s IPDA awards for excellence in package design and engineering achievements. Last year and past IPDA winners and finalists included Arbonne, Bath & Body Works, Benefit Cosmetics, Burberry Cosmetics, Color Proof, Combe, COOLA, Coty, Five Star Fragrance, Inter Parfums, Kate Somerville Skin Care, Lea Journo Cosmetique, L’Oreal Paris, MAC Cosmetics, Naked Princess, Physicians Formula, Renpure Organics, Sephora, SK-II, Stila The Estee Lauder Companies, Thymes, Victoria Secrets, and Yves Rocher.
Any size company can submit designs that are introduced for retail from June 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, including suppliers, design firms, public relations and marketing agencies, and brand manufacturers. Designs that have been re-freshed, improved, or offer new features or technologies are also eligible to participate.The deadline for IPDA submissions is March 22, 2013.
