CLn Skin Care, a line of physician-developed products for compromised skin including eczema, acne and folliculitis, rolled out its latest innovation, CLn Acne Cleanser ($28). According to the company, it is formulated with surfactants to loosen dirt and wash away debris, and salicylic acid to exfoliate dead skin cells and eliminate excess oil. The cleanser is also uniquely preserved with sodium hypochlorite to help fight bacteria and reduce the appearance of redness.
"Acne is the most common skin condition in the United States, affecting an estimated 80-90% of all teenagers. Since it is a multi-faceted disease, dermatologists use a variety of therapies when treating patients, some of which may be irritating. A non-irritating cleanser is a valuable addition to the acne arsenal,” said Guy Webster, MD from Webster Dermatology, P.A., Hockessin, DE and Clinical Professor, Department of Dermatology, Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA.
“The CLn Skin Care team is thrilled to launch CLn Acne Cleanser, which we designed specifically for people suffering from acne,” said Dr. Clay Cockerell, CLn Skin Care co-founder. “We look forward to continuing to add products to our line that offer people suffering from skin conditions some relief.”
CLn Acne Cleanser and all other CLn Skin Care products are available for purchase at www.clnwash.com, www.amazon.com and www.drugstore.com, as well as select pharmacies and dermatology offices.
