BASF was recognized by talent communication research and consulting firm Potentialpark with its 2015 Online Talent Communication (OTaC) awards for excellence in online talent communication. The awards rank companies' online communication in four key categories: career website, mobile, social media, and online application, plus a fifth for overall rank.
BASF ranked No. 11 in the Mobile Talent Interaction category and No. 21 in the Career Website category. The ranking is based on a representative survey of more than 1,800 students and graduates and 127 companies in the US.
Potentialpark scores against an annually updated list of criteria and features that reflect candidates' preferences and priorities when learning about companies, and looking and applying for jobs. Potentialpark cited BASF specifically for its efforts to personalize online candidate communication through ambassador chats.
"Through the annual Potentialpark OTaC ranking and benchmark, BASF has in the latest 2015 results been able to show high results. As one of the biggest climbers within the OTaC Career Website ranking and the OTaC Mobile Communication ranking, BASF has now joined the top employers in the Potentialpark OTaC study in the U.S.," said Bjorn Wigeman, client relations director at Potentialpark.
"BASF is a great place to work, and we strive every day to convey this to candidates through all of our online communication channels, from our careers website to social media," said Bernadette Palumbo, director of talent acquisition and university relations. "We are proud to be recognized by Potentialpark with their 2015 OTaC Awards as we continue to seek ways to improve how we connect and engage with talent."
