Birchbox is partnering with the Estée Lauder Companies to create an exclusive box of beauty samples this October in support of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Campaign.
Birchbox has committed to donating $104,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), which will fund one year of breast cancer research hours.
The accord marks the first time Birchbox will be sampling and selling Clinique and Estée Lauder products.
The special-edition box will be filled with an assortment of products from The Estée Lauder Companies’ brands, including Estée Lauder, Clinique, Smashbox, Darphin, Prescriptives and Origins. In addition to the five deluxe beauty samples, customers will also receive a pink ribbon pin and educational content about the cause in their box.
“Birchbox has cultivated a wonderful beauty community,” said William P. Lauder, executive chairman of The Estée Lauder Companies. “This fantastic and exciting partnership among The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, Birchbox and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) is an opportunity to educate consumers, and support medical research through the critical work of BCRF.”
Birchbox subscribers can select to receive this limited-edition assortment as their October box. New subscribers can sign up while supplies last to receive this Breast Cancer Awareness box as their first box ($10/month or $110/year).
At Birchbox, we know first-hand the power of beauty to inspire confidence. This month, we’re proud to harness that power in a different way: to raise money and awareness for an incredibly important cause,” said Katia Beauchamp, co-founder and CEO of Birchbox. “We’re honored to join forces with The Estée Lauder Companies - which has truly raised the bar in its dedication and commitment to breast cancer awareness - and extend the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s mission to our Birchbox community.”
