Rachel Zoe’s Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection was a play on masculine tailoring and feminine silhouettes with rich shades of bordeaux and gold. TreSemmé Stylist Jeanie Syfu was inspired by the modern and relaxed spin on 1930’s glamour with a 1990’s attitude reminiscent of supermodels that the collection embodies, which led her to create a hair look that had a cool-girl, romantic feel. For “Wispy Romantic Fishtail Braids” the products used include: TreSemmé Perfectly (un)Done Wave Creation Sea Foam, Perfectly (un)Done Sea Salt Spray and Perfectly (un)Done Brushable Hold Hairspray.
Meanwhile, Mara Hoffman always delivers jaw-dropping ready-to-wear pieces and this Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection was no different. Each piece featured 70s glamour with a romantic, yet timeless look. TreSemmé Stylist Tyler Laswell beautifully accompanied the collection with voluminous, bouncy curly haired looks. Each girl had an individualistic look for the show to showcase her personality, with a variation of different curls throughout that lent itself nicely to TreSemmé’s newest launch, Beauty-Full Volume. The new Beauty-Full Volume is the only reverse wash system that’s specifically designed to give soft, touchable volume through the washing process – by conditioning with the collection’s Pre-Wash Conditioner first and using the Shampoo second!
Other NYFW trends included The Twisted Punk Braid at Herve Leger AW'16 Runway Show. “We wanted the hair to make a statement and Lubov Azria’s punk inspired collection was the perfect opportunity to do so. This style allows women to take a classic look and give it a grungy accent, so that they can channel their inner tomboy,” said Orlando Pita, New York Fashion Week Ambassador for TreSemmé.
Another TreSemmé Trend Alert was The Downtown Wave at Monse AW'16 Runway Show. “We wanted the hair to embrace the cool, deconstructed look that is mirrored in the new Monse collection. Celebrating individuality through natural texture and soft lines, this style produces an effortless finish that radiates an empowering confidence, said Pita.
