Envy Medical, Inc. welcomed Sona Tolani to the newly created role of senior vice president of marketing.
Joining Envy from Dermalogica, a Unilever brand, where she was senior director, global marketing, Tolani brings with her over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. During her tenure at Dermalogica since 2007, she managed the entire global product portfolio consisting of a range of retail and professional products. She was responsible for product innovation, brand marketing and centralizing creative development so that local markets flawlessly launched new products with a consistent brand message worldwide.
Prior to joining Dermalogica, Tolani was senior marketing manager, cosmetics at L’Oreal Paris, where she was instrumental in growing the eye category, including mascara, eyeliners and eye shadows. She began her career in the beauty industry in hair care for salon brand Sebastian International, developing new product concepts and initiatives.
Her key responsibilities at Envy Medical will include using her expertise to build an aggressive marketing strategy to strengthen awareness of the Envy Medical portfolio of brands among a new segment of savvy consumers seeking visible skincare results that are effective, safe and trusted by physicians. She will focus on growing market share through a comprehensive global retail strategy within the physician and consumer channels.
