Future stars of the National Football League will arrive Chicago this week to prepare for one of the biggest nights of their young careers—the NFL Draft—and P&G will be on hand to help them look their best when their names are called. The company’s Gillette, Old Spice, Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Olay and CoverGirl brands are teaming up to provide grooming, beauty and pampering services for the soon-to-be first round draft picks and their families at the P&G VIP Style Lounge on April 27 and April 28.
They will receive services including hair styling, facials, manicures, pedicures, makeup, massages and hydrotherapy.
Top prospects including Eli Apple (Cornerback, Ohio State), Josh Doctson (Wide Receiver, TCU), Vernon Hargreaves (Cornerback, Florida), Ronnie Stanley (Offensive Linemen, Notre Dame), Laremy Tunsil (Offensive Linemen, Ole Miss) andJared Goff (Quarterback, University of California, Berkeley) are amongst some of the players planning to get pampered and styled alongside their family members including their moms, dads, brothers, sisters and grandparents that play such an important role in their young lives, according to P&G.
"After years of hard work and dedication to make it to this moment, these young men and their families all deserve to be treated like stars," said P&G's director of sports marketing, Janet Fletcher. "We're honored that our brands can be part of this special life event and help them look their best as they prepare to join the NFL family."
Projected first-round selection Vernon Hargreaves is looking forward to treating his mother to some pampering at the VIP Style Lounge ahead of the draft.
"My mother was such a big part of my life growing up and I'm excited that she'll have the opportunity to get pampered ahead of my big day," Hargreaves said. "It's going to be special to have my mom with me in Chicago at the Draft after all we've been through. She deserves a shining moment of her own in preparation for mine."
Denver Broncos star linebacker DeMarcus Ware will host the P&G VIP Style Lounge, according to P&G.
