Sally Beauty Board of Directors appointed Erin Nealy Cox as an independent director. She will be a member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
Ms. Nealy Cox served with Stroz Friedberg, a leading global cyber-security, digital risk management and investigations firm, from 2008 until May 2016, and was an executive managing director at Stroz Friedberg, LLC from 2010 until May 2016. From 2014-2016 she led Stroz Friedberg’s global incident response business. In this role, Nealy Cox led a global team of first responders, threat intelligence analysts and malware specialists, assisting corporate clients affected by cyber-attacks, state-sponsored espionage and data breach cases to solve complex and high profile cyber-breaches.
From 2010 to 2014, Ms. Nealy Cox led Stroz Friedberg’s Central Division, where she was responsible for oversight of the digital forensic laboratories, examiners and staff throughout the entire region. From 1999-2008, Nealy Cox worked for the US Department of Justice, serving as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas as well as Chief of Staff to the Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legal Policy in Washington, D.C.
