PCA Skin, Scottsdale has named Chris Payne chief marketing officer. In this role, Payne will be responsible for leading all marketing and communication initiatives to drive growth of the company both professional and consumer channels.
Payne brings to PCA Skin more than 15 years of beauty industry experience after working with companies such as L’Oréal, Clarisonic and Arcade Beauty. After beginning his career in the buying offices of Dayton Hudson, he transitioned to sales for the designer fragrance division of L’Oreal. He started his marketing career as a manager for Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani fragrances. Making a switch into skincare, he was the assistant vice president of marketing for Lancôme’s anti-aging business. While at Clarisonic, Payne led marketing teams across all functions and was instrumental in the sale of the brand to L’Oreal in 2011. Just prior to PCA Sskin, he was senior vice president of global marketing for Arcade Beauty, where Payne and his team delivered best-in-class product sampling solutions to the industry’s most coveted beauty brands.
