A razor is a razor is a razor....or is it? Men's grooming has gotten a little more complicated these days, as seen with two leading personal care marketers. Procter & Gamble (P&G) recently settled a lawsuit over false advertising and patent infringement with Edgewell, according to reports.
The suit was filed in August 2016 regarding false claims made against Gillette’s three-bladed Mach3 razor. Reports also stated that multiple patent violations were also alleged in the case, which focused on Edgewell’s three-bladed private label razors.
In US District Court in New York, the lawsuit was recently dismissed but allowed P&G the right to reopen it within 30 days if all issues aren’t completed.
