Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions (RSE) announced the second edition of its PCHi Technology Summit. Slated to take place in Guangzhou from Aug. 27-28 at the W Hotel, the Summit is presented with the support of PCHi’s Cosmetics Science & Technology Innovation Committee (CSTIC).
“The inaugural run of our Summit was very well-received — with over 380 industry professionals in attendance and 11,000 online views,” said Peter LIU, PCHi project manager. “We are excited to continue offering this unique platform to the industry, designed for in-depth exploration of key industry trends, knowledge exchange, and professional networking — an extension of the innovative and excellent discussions that takes place during the annual PCHi trade event in Spring.”
The Summit program includes a conference, product showcase, and an awards ceremony where PCHi recognizes its distinguished partners and their outstanding contributions to the global personal care and home care industry.
This year’s Summit will explore industry trends and regulations as the main theme, and the break-out sessions will tackle two key topics of concerns: aging and sensitive skin. Curated by the CSTIC, the agenda will address the whole industry chain, covering aspects of rules and regulations, manufacturing technology, product formulation, efficacy evaluation, testing, and more.
Featuring an impressive panel of industry experts and participating companies, the Summit is expected to attract close to 600 industry professionals, including manufacturers and suppliers of personal care ingredients; OEMs and ODMs; management personnel from cosmetics companies; research and development, testing, packaging, and regulatory affairs personnel; and representatives from industry associations, educational institutions, and government bodies.
