Touchland, a personal care brand with a line of hydrating skincare-grade hand sanitizing solutions, has reported a 133% increase in Q2 quarterly sales compared to Q1 2020. The brand also saw a 1,499% increase in quarterly sales year over year.
According to Touchland, sales growth in Q2 was driven by continued demand for the brand's consumer product, the Power Mist Hand Sanitizer, as well as unprecedented demand for the KUB, a commercial unit hand sanitizer dispenser. Touchland strategically aligned with category-leading brands to install KUBs as businesses around the country reopened, including Equinox, Louis Vuitton, sweetgreen and Beacon Capital Partners. The B2B channel currently makes up approximately 50% of Touchland's business and is projected to grow to approximately 75% within the next year.
"Touchland is partnering with industry-leading brands that care deeply about creating excellent customer, guest and member experiences across everything they do, especially given the need for increased sanitizing and safety measures in response to COVID-19," said Ed Krafcik, head of U.S. business development at Touchland. "Brands choose Touchland for best in class design, formula and user experience that they are proud to place prominently for everyone to see and align with for years to come."
After selling out of the Power Mist Hand Sanitizer in March, Touchland amassed a waiting list of 34,626 individual orders on Touchland.com. The brand quickly increased production volume and shipments of products, and the Power Mist is now back in stock with ULTA, Amazon, Aerie and more.
"The past few months have been like nothing I could have even imagined as an entrepreneur," said Andrea Lisbona, founder and CEO of Touchland. "I am so grateful to our team for rising to the occasion to continue to build Touchland into a leader in the beauty industry."
Touchland is announcing new products and a new major retail channel in August 2020. New Power Mist fragrances are scheduled for Q4 2020.
