Becky G is launching a cosmetics line. Treslúce Beauty was created in partnership with Madeby Collective. The direct-to-consumer line debuts June 25. Treslúce Beauty will debut in the eye category with an eye shadow palette, eyeliners, makeup brushes and false eyelashes ranging in price from $8 to $35.
In recognition of her Latin roots, the formulas include agave tequilana sourced from Jalisco, where Becky G’s grandparents are based. The packaging was designed by Mexican artist Monica Loya and was inspired by Talavera pottery.
Marcelo Camberos, cofounder and chief executive officer of Ipsy, and CEO of Beauty for All Industries, said Madeby Collective is “all about serving underserved communities” and partnering with “emblematic personalities in those communities” to do so.
Becky G (Rebbeca Marie Gomez) gained recognition in 2011 when she began posting videos of herself covering popular songs online. Her albums include Mala Santa, Amore Mio and Play It Again.
