Lucky Chick—the indie beauty brand known for its collection of lively and joyful lipsticks, glosses and more—has partnered with Fighting Pretty, a non-profit organization that helps women feel strong and beautiful during and after cancer treatments.
Beginning July 26, 2021, the cosmetics company will donate 10% of all sales of their Creamy Semi-Matte Lipstick and Lip Gloss in the shade Joy, an upbeat, bright pink shade, in addition to a lip topper and gift set, to Fighting Pretty.
About Fighting Pretty
Fighting Pretty founder Kara Skaflestad began Fighting Pretty in 2013 after beginning her battle against breast cancer at the young age of 26. Kara realized she wanted to go through this ordeal by “Fighting Pretty” with a smile on her face, lipstick on her lips, and strength in her heart.
“When I first met Kara, I was struck by her dedication to help women fighting cancer feel strong and pretty” says Stephanie Miklosvary, founder of Lucky Chick. “Her cause was connected to my heart, and her bubbly personality and positive outlook was a breath of fresh air. At the time Lucky Chick was donating products to the organization and now we can take our relationship even further by being able to give back directly to this wonderful organization by bringing Joy to more women in their ‘Fighting Pretty’ journey.”
