Tim Waller is now part of Babor Beauty Group’s senior leadership team in his new role as co-CEO and group brand president Babor and premium brands.
Waller has been part of the Babor Beauty Group since 2016 as CEO of the subsidiary Babor Americas. In this role, he built up the brand sustainably in the US, Canada and the Caribbean and established innovative sales partnerships. At the Babor Beauty Group, he is now responsible for corporate strategy as well as global marketing and sales for the Babor Beauty Group. The position fits in alongside the managing directors Horst Robertz (operations) and Stefan Kehr (finance and human resources).
At Babor Americas Waller’s role will evolve into directing the board over the next months while implementing a successor to fill his current role, the company said.
“Tim Waller has extensive international experience and combines strategic foresight with a team player attitude. We are looking forward to developing this company, together,” said Isabel Bonacker, co-owner of the family business.
Babor says the new senior management team reflects Babor Beauty Group’s accelerated growth plan and lays the foundation for continued double-digit growth in the coming years.
The Babor brand has developed from a B2B niche brand to a market leader in professional skincare in Europe and a global multichannel skincare brand. The strategic objective is to further strengthen the brand’s international footprint and market share. One of Waller’s priorities will be to create an organization and processes to increase international consistency and relevance, according to the company.
"It is my intention to further strengthen our professional skin care heritage and anchor the brand Babor firmly in the world of expert skincare, while continuing to drive brand awareness and accelerate internationalization as well as multi-channel distribution," said Waller. The Babor Beauty Group is a powerhouse for innovation, manufacturing, and marketing of industry-leading skincare brands, all developed sustainably. This is an extremely dynamic and fun environment, which needs transparency, an agile organizational structure, and strong cross-functional collaboration. That's why I'm really looking forward to working closely with the teams of Horst Robertz and Stefan Kehr”.
Prior to joining Babor, Waller held senior management positions at L'Oréal and at international divisions at the Estée Lauder Companies.
