Kimberly-Clark Professional (KCP) is celebrating its "biggest innovation in over a decade" that will elevate the washroom experience, according to the company. Its Icon collection for bathrooms is adding on to its soaps to include new faceplates. The line expansion debuted to household and personal care industry editors in a webinar on Feb. 28.
In correlation to the launch was the recent “Art of Hygiene” gallery exhibit in partnership with Atlanta street artist and muralist Yoyo Ferro in Atlanta.
KCP executives were present at the online debut including Susan Gambardella, KCP President; Erik Gabrielson, KCP Customer Experience & Marketing Director; and Derek Thrall, KCP North America Innovation Commercialization Leader. The event was moderated by Christine Pullara, Host, Atlanta & Company, 11 Alive.
The new Icon dispenser is a first-of-its-kind automatic device with interchangeable and customized faceplate options that elevate the washroom experience, according to KCP. The full Icon collection includes paper towel, toilet paper, soap and sanitizer dispenser options that each feature six designer faceplates.
To celebrate the launch, KCP has partnered with Atlanta street artist and muralist Yoyo Ferro to design four custom faceplates, bringing the element of art to hygiene, according to Gambardella.
The Icon faceplates can also be customized with brand logos or imagery for an elevated branding experience. According to Gambardella, “Icon provides a unique branding and messaging opportunity for businesses as well.”
