YouTube star Liah Yoo gets the makeup right when on camera, but she empathizes with many consumers who view it as a chore. Perhaps this constitutes the reason why many make the mistake of sleeping with it on, unwittingly waking up to racoon eyes and a trail of loose eyelashes on their pillowcases.
To make makeup removal an easier, more enjoyable task, YouTube Star Liah Yoo, founder of KraveBeauty, has launched a jelly oil cleanser that gently and quickly removes impurities. Dubbed Makeup Re-Wined ($24), the lightweight makeup remover is equal parts a cleansing oil and balm. Made from upcycled grapeseed oil, Re-Wined starts as a jelly, breaking into an oil as it is massaged in the skin. It then emulsifies into a milk, gently breaking down makeup, sunscreen and other impurities without leaving a greasy residue behind.
KraveBeauty is committed to a small, intentional range of products and reducing the footprint of every product they do create. Makeup Re-Wined’s star ingredient is upcycled grapeseed oil sourced from the wine industry to reduce waste. What’s more, the product packaging is made of recycled resin and PCR plastic.
