Each year, the Society of Cosmetic Chemists recognizes individuals for their significant contributions to the field of cosmetic science – through technical contributions, leadership, and/or exceptional service to the Society. Nominations for the following awards are being accepted through 11:59pm PT on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 – so complete the nomination forms today to recognize your peers!
The Achievement Awards Task Force is dedicated to SCC’s goal of increasing diversity and inclusion within the Society. As part of this effort, SCC highly encourages nominations for individuals from historically underrepresented groups in the cosmetic science field.
Awards include:
The Maison G. deNavarre Medal Award is the Society’s highest honor. It is named after Society of Cosmetic Chemists founder Maison G. deNavarre and is designed to recognize an individual for accomplishments in activities supporting the best interests of the cosmetic industry through technical contributions. Membership in SCC not required. Download & complete the nomination form.
The Florence Wall Women in Cosmetic Chemistry Award recognizes a woman for significant accomplishments in the cosmetic industry through technical contributions, leadership skills and business excellence. Membership in SCC preferred, but not required. Download & complete the nomination form.
The Robert A. Kramer Lifetime Service Award is presented to an individual who has given extraordinary service and distinguished leadership in Society activities over the course of their membership. Membership in SCC required. Download & complete the nomination form.
The Society of Cosmetic Chemists Merit Award is presented to an individual in recognition of outstanding service, distinguished leadership, and exceptional contributions to the Society on a National level. Membership in SCC required. Download & complete the nomination form.
Awards will be presented to recipients at the 76th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase, in Los Angeles, California, December 12-14, 2022.
