Glow Recipe, an $80 million clean beauty brand, may be for sale. The company reportedly hired Goldman Sachs to explore its options and may have a value of $400 million to $500 million, according to sources.
Neither Glow Recipe, nor Goldman Sachs commented on the rumor.
This isn't the first time Glow Recipe has tested the financial waters. Last year, North Castle Partners, a private equity firm focused on investments in consumer and lifestyle products and services, invested in the beauty company. And a year ago, Kline predicted that Glow Recipe could fetch $1 billion some day.
Glow Recipe was founded in 2014 by Sarah Lee and Christine Chang. After an appearance on Shark Tank, the K-Beauty brand entered Sephora in 2017. It is best known for its watermelon moisturizer.
