LolaVie, a two-year-old premium haircare brand founded by actress Jennifer Aniston with Amy Sachs and CEO Joel Ronkin, has inked its first retail partnership with Ulta Beauty.
The brand will debut on Ulta Beauty’s official website on April 30, with entry into stores on May 14.
As previously reported on Happi, the brand’s first product, launched in September 2021, was a Glossing Detangler. The lightweight spray safe for color-treated hair and suitable for all hair types, detangles hair with a vegan thermal shield of lemon extract, superfruit complex and vegetable ceramides. Other products that followed was a restorative shampoo and conditioner duo, which were highly requested by consumers. The conditioner is formulated with LolaVie Bond, the brand’s proprietary technology, which harnesses the power of chia seeds to repair the look of existing damage while also protecting the hair from future damage. Other all-star ingredients include upcycled jackfruit and orange pulp, coconut alkanes, superfruit conditioning and vegan keratin complexes, bamboo essence, and the all-new LolaVie Healthy Volume Complex. The shampoo – 96% naturally-derived— is also formulated with the LolaVie Bond.
Last year, Ulta reported net sales increased 21.0% to $2.3 billion compared to $1.9 billion in the first quarter of fiscal 2021 driven by fewer COVID-19 restrictions.
