Daybird, the Latina and AAPI-owned beauty brand, has launched into two online retailers, Urban Outfitters and Poosh.
Daybird’s Tinted Skincare — a tinted serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen — is now available on both platforms.
Daybird's launch on Poosh will be the first sunscreen product to be featured on the site and will be among the curated 50-plus wellness brands available on Poosh’s shop. The launch coincides with a rising demand for diverse and inclusive suppliers.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with Urban Outfitters and Poosh to bring Daybird to a wider audience,” said Daybird Co-Founder Whitney McElwain. “As a Latina and AAPI-owned brand, we are dedicated to creating inclusive and top-quality skincare products that cater to all skin types and tones. Our presence on these platforms allows us to create space for a broader demographic to spread our mission of redefining beauty standards.”
Daybird was born out of a rejection of traditional beauty standards. Co-founders Whitney and Veena sought a product that provided maximum benefit without the stress and complexity of traditional skincare routines. By unlearning conventional beauty ideals, the Daybird team fostered a healthier relationship with themselves and their skin.
Daybird’s Tinted Skincare is a clean and vegan serum, moisturizer, sunscreen and sheer foundation in one multitasking product. The hybrid formula combines makeup, skincare and sunscreen designed with the intention to wear less and benefit more, according to the brand. Daybird Tinted Skincare contains clinically-proven and dermatologist-approved active skincare ingredients including: Niacinamide 2%: Vitamin B3 antioxidant increases dermal collagen for smoother skin; Bisabolol 0.5%: Chamomile extract reduces inflammation and evens skin tone; and Zinc Oxide 12%: Non-nano, mineral SPF 50 protects against blue light and UVA/UVB rays.
