The serum mask contains babchi, triphala and snow mushroom, which is an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that helps restore the skin's natural balance and a solution for inflammatory skin conditions such as rosacea, eczema and acne.
According to the founder, “Ancient India” is deeply rooted in ayurvedic Indian tradition as it is science. Roy studied reportedly studied with Deepak Chopra for 15 years and learned about the detrimental impact cumulative damage from the environment can have on skin. The personal significance to creating the brand stems from her diagnosis with scleroderma, which left her with a thick line that runs down the center of her forehead. Her combination of both western and eastern medicinal practices helped her reach a near-full recovery.
