RIFM is the leading research institute in the world for assessing fragrance ingredients. It evaluates fragrance materials through internationally recognized safety assessment and research programs. It focuses on building universal acceptance and trust in the safe use of fragrance materials through applied science and research.
The Creme-RIFM Aggregate Exposure Model is computer software that estimates a person’s total potential exposure to a fragrance ingredient from all fragranced products. This estimate is based on data on actual consumer usage collected through extensive surveys and as reported in scientific studies of fragranced product use.
The webinar will include invaluable insights into the critical aspects of fragrance exposure and how it relates to the formulation & evaluation of perfumes and other scented products. Experts will speak on the rigorous safety assessment tool per RIFM’s internationally recognized approach and meticulous evaluation. From the RIFM Safety assessments, the International Fragrance Association IFRA sets the standards that form the foundation for the globally recognized safe-use fragrance program. The webinar will enhance understanding of global fragrance safety, risk assessment of fragrance ingredients, the science supporting fragrance safety, and the recognized safety assessment process, according to organizers.
