Luxury skincare brand Sulwhasoo is reintroducing its First Care Activating Serum VI with an updated formula.
First introduced in 1997, the new formula pays homage to the Korean aesthetic, marketers say.
The star ingredient is ginseng. Sulwhasoo decoded it over decades to unveil its ability to create healthy, radiant skin. Lymphanax is another ingredient. Having undergone 500 hours of natural ripening to amplify the core elements of the First Care Activating Serum, the ingredient synergy catalyzes skin’s vitality, working harmoniously to rejuvenate and enhance natural beauty, according to the brand.
Formulated with Sulwhasoo’s proprietary herbal blend, Jaum Activator, the serum addresses six elements of visible skin concerns in a single step to help bring skin to its optimal state hydration, visible wrinkles, brightness, radiance, translucency and moisture barrier to reveal balanced, youthful-looking skin. Sulwhasoo Master Complex is powered by ginseng to help strengthen skin’s natural abilities such as skin’s barrier.
In a clinical eight-week study on 30 women aged 39 to 60, after three days of use, the skin barrier was improved, and, after four weeks, 10 signs of skin-aging were improved.
The First Care Activating Serum VI retails for $89 and is available at us.sulwhasoo.com and sephora.com.
