Financial tech company Catch has partnered with Rare Beauty to make it easier to shop and earn rewards by introducing its first mobile app on the app store.
Rare Beauty, the mission-driven beauty brand founded and created by Selena Gomez, donates 1% of all sales to Gomez's Rare Impact Fund. This philanthropic initiative raises funds to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and expand access to mental health services and education for young people around the world. Financial stress significantly impacts youth and has been identified as one of the leading mental health stressors.
Catch says it was founded to help consumers “live well now” without incurring debt later. To support this mission, the fin-tech company will be a title sponsor at the inaugural Rare Impact Fund Benefit on October 4 in Los Angeles.

“Rare Beauty is a mission-driven brand that has always been about more than just makeup, focusing on making our consumer feel good inside and outside,” said Mehdi Mehdi, chief digital officer of Rare Beauty. “We are excited to partner with Catch to offer our community a new way to earn rewards while shopping for their favorite products. And we are equally thrilled to kick off this partnership by having Catch as a title sponsor at our Rare Impact Fund Benefit this October.”
Catch Mobile App
The new Catch mobile app has a feature set that consumers can use to shop and collect rewards from their favorite brands directly within the app, enhancing
merchant loyalty programs. Catch says it can empower merchants to tailor their in-app rewards programs to their customers. Through this approach, brand partners—which also include SoulCycle, PacSun and Everlane—have achieved a 65% reduction in time to repeat purchases, a 55% reduction in customer churn, and a 45% increase in customer lifetime value on average. Meanwhile, customers who pay with Catch can earn an average of $16.50 in store credit per order, according to the company.
“We’re very excited to bring Catch to life through our new mobile app,” said Catch Co-Founder and CEO Nico Perdomo. “It’s something our users have been asking about for a while, and launching our new app while simultaneously bringing on a brand as beloved as Rare Beauty is a win-win for our Catch community.”
