HAPPI Top 50 Company Puig has expanded its headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, and opened a second tower.
CEO Marc Puig said the new addition doubles the surface area of its existing headquarters as a “symbol of global growth and momentum,” while affirming its commitments to sustainability and its birth more than a century ago.
The new tower stands beside the company’s first in the Plaza Europa business area and houses the group’s operations hub with an innovation center. The site accommodates roughly 485 employees and will be officially inaugurated in the first quarter of 2024.
Internationally renowned architect Rafael Moneo collaborated on the final design with GCA Arquitectos Asociados, a reputable architecture firm. The Puig Tower has a surface area of over 23,000 m2 and is characterized by its “avant-garde originality,” according to the company.
In-line with its sustainability commitment, the building has been awarded Gold LEED energy-efficiency certification by the US Green Building Council.
