In Manscaped's new campaign promoting its Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra, actor Pete Davidson began the “Ball-ber” Shop with a dream that men could have “smooth sacks.”
In the cheeky commercial for the brand's electric groin and body hair trimmer, men arrive not for the typical haircut, but for a professional trimming of their nether region.
One of the standout features of The Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra is its dual head system which allows for maximum customization while trimming to prevent nicks, according to the brand.
“We figured the concept of a ball-ber shop, and certainly mention of something called The Screaming Eagle, would garner a laugh and make quite a lasting impression,” said Marcelo Kertész, chief marketing officer of Manscaped.

In the commercial, the client is seated in a salon chair and draped with a traditional cape. Pete assures the slightly unnerved patron that he’s in “good hands” as the electric trimmer uses SkinSafe technology with a waterproof design. Following his groin cut, a mirror is held up to reveal the finished, “immaculate” result.
“Ball work is honest work,” concludes Davidson.
