The International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) announced that Mary Lynn Halland will step down as Secretary General. Monica Morales has been named interim Secretary General.
"After eight years of dedicated service as Secretary General of the IFSCC, Mary Lynn Halland has decided to step down from her role," said the Federation in a statement. "We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mary Lynn for her unwavering commitment, tireless efforts and valuable contributions during her tenure, which have played a crucial role in the growth and success of our organization."
Halland joined the IFSCC in 2016.
The IFSCC noted that Morales has a wealth of experience and a proven track record of successful leadership.
"Her extensive knowledge of the cosmetic science industry, coupled with her commitment to excellence, makes her an excellent fit for this role.
Most recently, Morales served as Secretary of the IFSCC Congress in Barcelona.
