CoverGirl has officially launched its first-ever #BeACovergirl contest.
In today’s beauty sphere, the brand believes the definition of beauty is about having a unique perspective. As such, CoverGirl is helping budding creators launch their careers through its first-ever #BeACoverGirl contest.
Three grand prize winners will become the newest creator faces for the brand, evolving what it means to be beautiful.
Unique Talents and Voices
“For over 60 years, Covergirl has been a brand centered on the idea of discovery,” said Stefano Curti, chief brands officer of Coty. “Discovery of unique talent, of fresh perspectives, and beyond discovery, realizing your dreams. Today, we are thrilled to live this mission in a new and thoroughly modern way, by harnessing the power of social media to discover the unique talents and voices out there and inviting them to become an active part of the CoverGirl community.”
To enter, prospective participants don’t have to be flawless, feminine or famous. Entrants will have a chance to learn the reigns of the beauty industry by completing a registration form and uploading a one-minute video or TikTok link sharing why they wish to be the next Cover Girl.
To launch the campaign, the brand has partnered with 10 mid-tier creators, and three-mega creators to inspire fans to participate, including Amanda Diaz, Emira D’Spain and Leiliani Green.
“As someone who has been in these contestants' shoes, I’m excited to empower fans to celebrate their unique personalities, communities, and beauty,” said Green. “Everybody deserves a chance to make this industry a better place.
