In an effort to streamline its operations, PZ Cussons says it will sell St. Tropez, its popular premium self-tanning brand.
Cussons acquired the range in 2010, as reported by Happi, in a deal valued at $98.8 million.
According to a statement released today by Cussons, St. Tropez has “grown significantly since acquisition, establishing a leading position in its key premium self‐tanning market of the US.” And, “given the strength of the brand's equity, there remains significant long‐term growth potential in the US and in both new geographies and category adjacencies.”
The brand is fronted by Ashley Graham.
