• BRAZIL: The Lindal Group, a leading aerosol packaging technology firm, has opened its Itupeva, São Paulo, Brazil facility, a site that is more than twice the size of its Jundiai area plant and positions the company for accelerated regional growth, according to Moacir Camargo, Lindal Brazil’s managing director.
According to Camargo, the custom-built, expandable new facility will capitalize on rising local market consumer spending power, which boosts demand for personal care products and, by extension, innovative aerosol packaging solutions.
“Our new operation in Itupeva represents additional space in terms of total land, injection molding, assembly, warehousing, maintenance and general operations, offices, lab and service support,” he said.
According to Robert F. Brands, president of Lindal-Americas, the new facility will help shorten supply chains and increase return oninvestment for its multinational customers, as well as for contract fillers based in South America.
“This expansion represents our latest initiative in The Americas,” Brands said. “In our quest for profitable, sustainable growth, we will continue to enhance efficiencies and provide optimal product quality, service and support, in order to help our customers meet their goals.”
The Lindal Group also recently announced the expansion of its Columbus, IN facility in the US.
