US Patent No. 8,992,690 B1; Alexander Kandemir of New York has been awarded a US patent for a toothbrush that has a housing with an upper head portion and a lower neck portion; two spaced-apart drive sprockets extending through the upper head portion substantially parallel to the lower neck portion; and a continuous, rotatable belt with tread on an interior side simultaneously wrapped around each of said two spaced-apart drive sprockets, and a plurality of bristles extending outward from the belt.
