US Patent No. 9,090,858 B2; Procter & Gamble has patented a solid fabric treatment detergent composition. It is comprised of detersive surfactant, phthalimido peroxycaproic acid, zeolite builder, phosphate builder and silicate salt.
Upon dilution in deionized water, the composition has a pH of from about 7.6 to about 8.8; and the composition has a reserve alkalinity to pH 6.0 of at least about 5.0g NaOH/100g detergent composition. The composition comprises carbonate salts selected from alkali metal carbonates and bicarbonates, and wherein the total level of alkali metal bicarbonates is greater, in weight percentage terms, than the total level of alkali metal carbonates.
