Procedure | |
Add water to beaker (25-30°C preferable) and start mixer with gentle agitation. Add individually, sodium phylate, Glystar A31, and EZ Guar C14 and mix until uniform. Begin heating primary vessel to 75-80°C. When at 75-80°C, slowly add Farmal MS 6822 and continue mixing (phase A). In a side vessel, add lauric acid, PolyAquol 2W, stearic acid, natural wax jelly and macadamia nut oil (phase C) and heat to 75-80°C. Begin agitation when melted. When both phase A and C are at 75-80°C, add phase C to phase A, maintaining temperature for 15-20 minutes and mixing until homogenous. Begin cooling to 55-60°C, maintaining mixing. Reduce mixing speed and slowly add each phase B surfactant and mix until homogenous, continuing to cool to 40°C. When the temperature is below 40°C, slowly add Hydroguard H-20, fragrance and CireNat Spheres (phase D). Mix until homogenous and uniform. | |
