Procedure | |
Weigh Phase A. Weigh Phase B and mix well. Phase A: Adjust pH=5.50+/-0.10 with Phase B, mix well. Weigh and heat Phase A+B to 90°C in bain-marie with helix stirring. Weigh Phase C and mix well. Add slowly Phase C to Phase A with normal helix stirring at 90°C in bain-marie. Allow Phase A+B+C heating at 90°C for one hour in bain-marie with helix stirring. Weigh and heat Phase D to 90°C in bain-marie. Add Phase D into the previous part with strong helix stirring. Weigh and add Phase E into the previous part and mix well with rapid helix stirring. Add Phase F and mix well with rapid helix stirring. Out of the bain-marie, add Phase G and mix well with rapid helix stirring (s=450 rpm); Add Phase H and mix well with rapid helix stirring (s=450 rpm). Pour into molds immediately. Allow to cool for 15 minutes at room temperature. | |

Appearance: Beige opaque gel block. Stability: 3 months at 4°C, 25°C, 45°C and one month at 50°C. Centrifuge 10 min @ 3000 rpm and 1 x -80°C/+25°C 24 hours freeze-thaw cycle and autoclave 20 min. @ 120°C. | |
