Procedure | |
Weight and heat A to 75°C in bain-marie. Weight Phase B, mix well with normal helix stirring. Weigh and mix Phase C. Phase B: Adjust pH=5.40+/-0.10 with Phase C. Heat Phase B+C to 75°C in bain-marie. Before making the emulsion, add Phase D and Phase E in Phase A, mix with normal helix stirring. Add Phase F to Phase B+C. Pour Phase B+C+F into Phase A+D+E with strong rotor stator stirring. Weigh and add Phase G to the previous phase at around 45°C, mix well. | |

Appearance: white opaque viscous cream. Viscosity: >300,000 cps ± 10% Sp. 93, 2.5rpm, 1 min. 25°C, Brookfield DV-I Prime. Stability: 3 months at 4°C, 25°C, 45°C and 1 month at 50°C. Centrifuge 10min @300rpm and 1 x 80°C/+25°C 24 hours freeze-thaw cycle and autoclave 20min @120°C. | |
