US Patent No. 11,951,195 B2 (Mimi Lu, Karen Behnke); Juice Beauty, Inc. patented a composition comprising a thin emulsion base and an active ingredient that contains a solvent, an alkane texture enhancer, and a lipid emulsifier.

The solvent is a plant juice derived supernatant having carbohydrate content, an acidic pH of between 2.2 to 6.0, and a bacterial cell count of less than 150 CFU/g.

The alkane texture enhancer is a mixture consisting C12 alkanes, C14 alkanes and coco-caprylate/caprate.

The lipid emulsifier is a mixture of polyglyceryl-10 mono/dioleate, polyglyceryl-3 oleate, glycerin and phosphatidylglycerol.

The emulsion base is stable for at least 90 days at 40°C.
