Univar Inc. has reached an agreement with Evonik to become the exclusive distributor for Evonik personal care products in the Northeastern US region. Evonik will continue to sell its silicone-based products directly. “Our exclusive partnership with Evonik in the Northeast compliments our current product portfolio and strategic supplier base further enabling Univar to deliver complete personal care solutions for technology and distribution,” said Kelly Gilroy, Univar’s personal and household care industry senior director. “This is an excellent opportunity for both Univar and Evonik to service our personal care customers with a specialized approach that meets our customers’ needs in a timely fashion,” said Paul Washlock, VP of personal care in the Consumer Specialties business unit for Evonik in North America.
