CosRx’s new  Alpha-Arbutin 2 Skin Discoloration Serum is fueled by a blend of five active ingredients that play a critical role in targeting skin discoloration to synergistically inhibit melanin production, reduce post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) and fade unwanted dark spots. The formula is suited for use across the body, according to CosRx.

In late 2023, Amorepacific took a majority stake in the fast-growing K-beauty brand.

Core ingredients include Alpha Arbutin, which prevents melanin synthesis; tranexamic acid to suppress melanin synthesis, helping to reduce existing spots; niacinamide;  n-acetyl glucosamine (NAG); ferulic acid; and glutathione. The serum is also enriched with madecassoside, tocopherol,  panthenol, hyaluronic acid and allantoin that calm the skin and support overall skin health and barrier function.

The serum ($25) is launching exclusively online at Ulta.
