New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists Celebrates 70th Anniversary with Black Tie Gala on Nov. 16

The recipients of the scholarship and grant awards, chapter merit awards and 2025 access awards will be announced.

Since 1954, the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) has been a leader in advancing cosmetic science through education and providing numerous scholarships and grants to students, young professionals and its members.

The NYSCC is celebrating its 70th anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 16 at The Plaza NYC, 768 5th Ave., New York, NY from 8pm to midnight at the Plaza Hotel for a black tie gala and education night.

This year’s event will feature platinum-themed décor to commemorate its milestone and honor the cosmetic science leaders, educators and contributors. The event will welcome its current executive board members along with its chairwoman, Dr. Amber Evans, SCC national representative, who will install the incoming 2025 board members. Additionally, it will announce the recipients of the scholarship and grant awards, chapter merit awards and 2025 access awards.
