L’Occitane Travel Retail brought holiday cheer with the launch of Sol de Janeiro’s “Celebrate Out Loud” global holiday campaign.
At the pulse of the initiative was a 360-degree pop-up at Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, designed in partnership with Lagardère Travel Retail, Extime, JC Decaux, ADP and Globe Travel Retail.
Other key partners include Le Chocolat des Français, Paris calling, Elba and With Swift.
With the tagline “irresistible gifts to escape the ordinary,” the campaign offered travelers a “sensory escape” by affording them a chance to immerse themselves in the sun-kissed spirit of Brazil during the holiday season. The pop-up featured a bold pink, yellow and turquoise jungle-inspired tropical theme with animals, foliage and flowers. Travelers encountered life-sized dummies of Sol de Janeiro’s signature products such as its best-selling Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, alongside oversized cut-outs of monkeys and parakeets with Brazilian music serving as an acoustic backdrop.
Dubbed a “treasure trove for gifting” by marketers, the pop-up showcased an assortment of Sol de Janeiro’s limited-edition holiday sets. Best-sellers on display included Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist and body care ranges including Delicia Drench, Beija Flor and Bom Dia. The special limited-edition gift sets included:
• Cheirosa Perfume Mist Set – Cheirosa 40, 59, 68 & 62 Perfume Mists;• Rio Body Retreat – Brazilian 4-play Body Wash, Bum Bum Body Cream & Cheirosa 62Perfume Mist; and• Rio Shower Ritual – Bum Bum Firmeza Oil, Bum Bum Body Scrub, Cream and Brazilian 4-play Body Wash.
