The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials’ Senior Scientist for Respiratory Toxicology, Nikaeta Sadekar, PhD, DABT, is among the instructors who is leading Rutgers University Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute’s 4th Risk Assessment Bootcamp on January 13 and 14.

“It’s a privilege being a part of the Rutgers Boot Camp’s incredible team of expert instructors,” Dr. Sadekar said, “and to help develop the next generation of safety assessors.”

Boot Camp attendees include students, postdocs, fellows, residents, current scientists and consultants with limited prior training or experience in toxicological risk assessment. Dr. Sadekar and her colleague instructors will provide basic training on the fundamentals of the safety assessment process, including risk analysis, systematic review, weight of evidence, hazard identification, exposure pathways and more.
