Donna’s Recipe, DreamGirls Hair Rally for Wildfire Relief

Initiatives support families affected by the destructive wildfires in Los Angeles, CA.

Amid the devastating fires affecting Southern California, local beauty brands are rallying to provide relief for families in need.

Through its DreamsUnlimited Foundation, DreamGirls Hair is accepting monetary donations and gift cards to aid affected families. Donations can be made here, and gift cards can be dropped off at their salon locations at 5541 Sepulveda Blvd. in Culver City and 9090 Elk Grove Blvd. in Elk Grove, Tuesday to Thursday from 9am-7pm.

Donna’s Recipe is teaming with Lincoln Avenue Christian Church to distribute hair care products, clothing, blankets, food and personal care items to those in need. The community can visit the church at 1180 Lincoln Ave., Pasadena, CA during their donation hours Tuesday 2pm-6pm; Wednesday 10am-6pm; and Friday 10am-6pm.

Emmy Winner and LA local Tabitha Brown, co-founder of Donna’s Recipe, is also partnering with Vurger Guyz to feed at least 1,000 people that have been affected by the Los Angeles fires. This week Tuesday-Thursday the truck will be located at Pasadena Church East Campus, 425 Sierra Madre Villa Ave. Pasadena 91107 from 10am until supplies last.
