Bold Brights: Pinterest Reveals 2026 Color Palette

Cool Blue, Jade, Plum Noir, Wasabi and Persimmon lead lifestyle and beauty trends.

Pinterest Palette, the social media platform’s annual drop of trending colors, is back with a five-hue lineup drawn from the ideas consumers are searching, saving and exploring on Pinterest.

Introducing Cool Blue, Jade, Plum Noir, Wasabi and Persimmon—”full volume colors that are bold, bright and anything but subtle,” said the company.

“For a long time, the safest choice was to keep things quiet and neutral. Now people are ready for more,” said Xanthe Wells, vice president of global creative at Pinterest. “Pinterest Palette is an invitation to be a little louder with how you feel—to play, to experiment and to let your world reflect the life you actually want to live.”

According to Wells: “Each hue carries its own energy: the unfiltered joy of Persimmon, the bold defiance of Wasabi, the powerful mystery of Plum Noir. Even the softer tones have presence, from the serenity of Jade to the fresh focus of Cool Blue.

“In 2026, people want color with emotional utility: colors that help them feel grounded in the chaos while staying optimistic about what’s ahead.”

Pinterest’s annual Predicts report has identified the top trends set to define 2026 across fashion, lifestyle and beauty.

Pantone’s Cloud Dancer

In contrast, Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2026 is Cloud Dancer, a white hue, as reported in Happi.

According to the color authority, Cloud Dancer is also “a billowy white imbued with serenity.”

“Similar to a blank canvas, Cloud Dancer signifies our desire for a fresh start. Peeling away layers of outmoded thinking, we open the door to new approaches. An airy white hue, Cloud Dancer opens up space for creativity, allowing our imagination to drift so that new insights and bold ideas can emerge and take shape,” said Laurie Pressman, vice president, Pantone Color Institute.
