The American Society of Perfumers will present John Gamba, senior perfumer at Givaudan, with its Lifetime Achievement Award. The award, which honors creativity, mentorship and lasting impact on the industry, will be presented to Gamba on June 25 during the World Perfumery Congress in Monterey, CA.

Gamba began his career as a lab technician at the iconic fragrance house Dragoco, where he trained under several master perfumers. His early successes in fragrance creation led to a remarkable series of award-winning scents, establishing him as a leading talent in the industry. Over his distinguished career, John has created fragrances across all categories, developing scents for both celebrity and global brands, including Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Betsey Johnson, Christina Aguilera, Calvin Klein, Bath & Body Works, Avon, Revlon, Natura and Elizabeth Arden.

After 20 years at Givaudan, he retired, leaving behind a legacy of fragrances that continue to inspire and captivate, according to ASP.
