Coast Southwest Names New General Manager

Coast Southwest welcomed Lisa M. Jones as general manager of the Grand Prairie, TX branch. She is based in Texas and reports to Joseph C. Cimo, president.

Jones is responsible for all operations functions and personnel for the Grand Prairie location. This regional sales and distribution center includes warehousing, distribution, silicone manufacturing, blending and research and development capabilities.

“The new general manager position demonstrates our commitment to work even more closely with our customers on innovative applications of our products,” said Cimo. “Lisa brings fifteen years of management and formulating experience in the personal care industry. She will be applying her technical ability, leadership, and industry expertise to help our customers bring exciting new products to the marketplace.”

Jones has hands-on experience with the entire development process, from formulating to acquiring raw materials, improving cost of goods, monitoring production of scale-up batches, and final production. Most recently, she was director of research and development for a custom manufacturer. Throughout her career, she has shown focused commitment to customers through supporting sales and following rigorous standards of quality control. In her role as general manager, she will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer satisfaction and ensuring the highest levels of quality while adhering to the National Association of Chemical Distributors’ Responsible
Distribution.
