Hair Care Brand Kérastase Launches Premiere Collection

Hair care brand Kérastase is all too familiar with the calcium that exists in shower water and its amplified effect on damaged hair. 

 

To combat the potentially damaging effects of shower water, the L'Oreal-owned brand developed the Premiere Collection. 

 

The collection features six at-home products and one in-salon treatment that repairs hair from the inside out, restoring up to 99% of hair’s original strength.

 

The collection is powered by a citric acid and glycine complex that removes calcium buildup on hair, reversing stiffness and dullness, reinforcing weak hair bonds and reconnecting broken links between keratin chains, according to the brand.

Première Concentré Décalcifiant Ultra-Réparateur ($58) – repair pre-shampoo treatment is formulated with an 8% citric acid and glycine omplex. It removes calcium build up, repairs persistent damage, reverses stiffness and dullness and reinforces weak hair bonds, reconnecting broken links between keratin chains for 75% more shine and 93% less breakage.

 

Première Bain Décalcifiant Réparateur ($42) is a sulfate-free repairing shampoo formulated with citric acid and glycine that cleanses the scalp and hair, resulting in 73% shinier hair and two times smoother hair. It also works to repair persistent damage, reversing stiffness and dullness and reinforces weak hair bonds, reconnecting broken links between keratin chains.

 

Première Fondant Fluidité Réparateur ($48) is a lightweight conditioner formulated with citric acid and glycine to instantly restore hydration, helping reduce hair rigidity for stronger hair. Hair is 97% stronger, 82% shinier and seven times smoother, per the brand.

 

Première Masque Filler Réparateur ($68) is an anti-breakage repairing mask formulated with peptide and glycine to protect against breakage, hydrate hair and visibly reduce the appearance of split ends. Hair is 98% stronger, seven times smoother and 53% shinier, per the brand.

 

Première Sèrum Filler Fondamental ($46) is a lightweight repairing anti-frizz serum formulated with peptide and glycine to locks out frizz and visibly reduce the appearance of split ends. It also protects from heat damage up to 450 degrees F. Hair is 99% stronger, three times smoother and 85% shinier.

 

Première Huile Gloss Réparatrice ($46) is a shine repairing oil that “radically” neutralizes persistent dullness caused by damage and visibly reduces the appearance of split ends. It also protects from heat damage up to 450 degrees F. Hair is four times shinier and 99% stronger. 

 

Première Concentré Liquide Resurfaçant (available in-salon only) contains 2% citric acid that removes calcium overdose, provides 87% less breakage, 70% more shine and seals and smooths hair surface for more hydrated hair.

 

The Premiere Collection is available on Feb. 12.
