Mermaidcore Hairstyles Lead Beauty Look at Anna Sui Spring and Summer 2024 Fashion Show

At the Anna Sui Spring/Summer 2024 show, Celebrity Stylist and Co-Founder of R+Co Garren used R+Co Bleu products to create dreamy, mermaid-inspired looks that complemented the underwater and ocean-themed collection.
 
 “The collection’s theme is all about aquatics and the ocean, saving the ocean and all the beautiful things that are underwater. The colors of blue and green, the glittering colors of the fish,” says Garren. “Fantasy mermaid was the inspiration for the hair. I wanted it to be fluid and close to the head, like a mermaid that had just came out of the water, but not too wet.”
 
R+Co Bleu products were used to create a variety of “mermaid-core” styles for the show, including De Luxe Reparative Shampoo + Conditioner, Rebounce Natural Texture & Curl Defining Crème, Essential Hair Tonic, Optical Illusion Smoothing Oil and Surreal Styling Serum.

The ocean is the inspiration, according to Garren.
